'One Square Meter'- situation

 

 

 798 art district is located in Beijing, China. It's a mix of commercial galleries and art centers; it's probably best to research beforehand which exhibits to visit because the area is huge.  We simply perused everything that was open and therefore got saturated after six hours. Our visit took place on November 23rd, 2013.

Toronto Nuit Blanche was held on the night of October 5th, 2013. My friend and I started at Wychwood Barns and ended at the Tiff.  A fair amount of projects were shown on University street, but since this area was packed like a carnival, we only passed by it very briefly. Our favourite works were the ones in City Hall.

Toronto Nuit Blanche was held on the night of September 29th, 2012. My friend and I started with Janet Cardiff's amazing sound installation 'Forty-part Motet' (at about 10:30PM), and ended our tour at the Powerplant for Christian Marclay's art video 'The Clock' (of which we watched from 6-7AM).  I couldn't document everything we saw, but we had a very productive Nuit Blanche experience!
